Transponder coils

Today, RFID transponders can increasingly be found in comfort and safety electronics, for example in keyless go, loop antennae, electronic tyre pressure control, belt tensioners and airbag systems. With its innovative ferrite injection moulding technique, Neosid offers forward-looking solutions, enabling customers to develop flexible, cost-optimised applications while fulfilling stringent quality requirements.

Transponders based on ferrite cores operate in the frequency range 5 kHz to 200 MHz. The classic application frequency is in the lower ranges at around 125 kHz.

Data is exchanged by means of a contactless system which consists of the transponder and the reader, which means that the equipment can be used universally and that it is wear-free. Energy is supplied to passive transponder systems by means of inductive input/coupling, obviating the need for an external battery. Available as x-axis, y-axis, z-axis and 3-axis transponder coil.
